The music industry is a beautiful chaotic mess. The major labels continue to consolidate. Independents are as always fighting for resources. Amazon launched a cloud service without much conversation. Digital sales are tracking to outpace physical sales for the first time this year. Music technology abounds. Every day there is a new service, a new way of doing things, and a new way to think about how music gets to and is experienced by the customer.
